I put together this manual for one of my customers; maybe some of you might find this useful? The files are too big for the forum so they are at the URLs below(box.net) The intention is to have a manual that can be distributed with each handset. Consequently, I have tried to make the Handset Guide (at the back) brand agnostic, but that is a work in progress, as you will see. Anyone who adds content, please add your name to the list of authors, and if you edit my (or anyone else's) mistakes, add your name to the editors list. Assembly of the chassis Following step is of dramatic importance with the tubes being put together on what is called a mask, which keeps all parts in the right position, as they will be finally displaced on the welded chassis. The mask is then introduced in a numerically controlled welding machine that has the possibility to weld with fantastic precision and speed all the tubes together. Tony kart assembly guide.

The power behind the PI System™ The PI Server is the real-time data storage and distribution engine that powers the PI System and provides a comprehensive real-time and historical view into operations, enabling users to make timely and impactful decisions. The PI Server:. receives data from many disparate sources and consolidates it into a single system. transforms raw data into actionable information and makes it accessible to users at all levels. proactively monitors data to deliver real-time alerts when critical events occur.

stores and secures data so information is both accessible to users and protected With the PI Server, differences in data types, delivery speeds, formats and sources no longer matter - information is instantly and uniformly available to users and applications whenever and wherever needed. Store, Organize and Contextualize Data The PI Server uses two components, the Data Archive and Asset Framework to collect, consolidate, organize and contextualize sensor-based data.

The Data Archive can store millions of tags and thousands of values per second while preserving data at its original fidelity. With the PI Server, decades of data and petabytes of online capacity are supported so all data - no matter how old - is there when needed. Modern business creates overwhelming amounts of data each day, making it challenging to find the information needed. AF makes it easier to find and share information. Asset Framework turns streaming data into information by:. defining relationships between data to improve understanding and make related information easily accessible. adding metadata to data.

replicating existing structure to new equipment/assets through templates to ensure consistency across organizations and enable rapid rollout With Asset Framework, information is intuitively organized so users see all the information they need at a glance. Calculate and Refine Data Simply connecting the enterprise to raw sensor data can create an enormous amount of value. But processing raw data in real-time can provide transformational business insights and improve decision making. With the PI Server suite of calculation tools Totalizers, Performance Equations, Steam Tables, Advanced Computing Engine, and Asset Analytics users can perform everything from simple averages and totals to sophisticated programmatic calculations as users refine raw data, calculate KPIs and gather valuable information about operations. Identify and Analyze Events Shifts, batches, curtailments, equipment startups, and changes in grades are significant events in business that are best understood when analyzed in context and compared with similar events. With Event Frames and Batch users can identify and analyze data within the context of events. When data is framed by events, users can perform “apples to apples” comparisons across assets, optimize production in real-time, perform root cause analysis, ensure consistency, and replicate best practices throughout the fleet.

Alert and Notify Users Deviations in operations and processes can cost millions which makes quickly detecting and responding to them critical. Notifications monitor the PI Server data, batches, and events in real-time, instantly detects deviations, and alerts users. With Notifications, users not only know about problems, they have the information they need to solve them as alerts can include links to FAQs and best practices, PI Client displays, current data values, and more. When alerts are acknowledged, Notifications captures comments from the acknowledger so their operational knowledge and insights are preserved and available to future users and regulators months or years later. Security and Availability Data is a vital business asset. The PI Server is designed to run as a mission-critical system, protecting data and ensuring information availability. To protect data integrity, the PI Server includes a built-in Audit Trail that records the who, what, and when for all changes that affect data.

User Guide Definition

The Audit Trail supports stringent industry electronic reporting requirements such as US FDA 21 CFR part 11 and those imposed by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and other quality oversight agencies. To help protect IT networks, the PI Server includes a suite of interfaces for monitoring the IT infrastructure. With the PI Interfaces for System Monitoring users can detect possible anomalies and deviations before they impact performance and system administrators have real-time and historical network performance data for troubleshooting issues. For users with disaster recovery or five 9s requirements, OSIsoft offers High Availability, an add-on for the PI Server. High Availability uses standard, non-fault tolerant, hardware, to provide dynamic failover and redundant reliability that ensures continuous collection, storage, and availability of data. High Availability is unique. It protects everything from raw data to metadata to calculations, makes system administration work such as hardware swaps and machine updates invisible to users, and ensures that information is continuously available to users.

High Availability can also provide data to emergency operations centers in the event of local disasters. With the PI Server data is treated as a mission critical business resource.
